this looks fun! is the moose tooth in the adirondacks near wolf jaw on somewere else in the no east? (new hampshire??)

Wow Vapor,
Your Adirondacks geography is really bad. Please take a look at the Adk Mtn. Club High Peaks map. If you look at Algonquin Peak, do you see the tight contour lines on the ridge that ascends the peak from the East, we are heading up that ridge in the photo. The large snowy area on the left in the photo is actually Lake Colden (it's just got LOTS of snow on it in the pic). I thoght that someone with your degree of local knowledge would have nailed this picture right off the bat.


In all seriousness (Vapor, you know how hard that is for me), after years of lurking I finally get the nerve up to set a profile. I wanted to post some trip photos (to the AK trip section, and the "my gallery" deal) and they pop up here. Either some software limitiation or my lack of tech savvy, probably the latter!

Is that Chounards Gully across the glacier?
Cool, they have a Mountain House just like one I saw in the Ruth Amp.
