Is that some weird screw in front of his R knee? (hard to see; maybe it's just gear hanging down) I can see that some gear would be good to help keep that sling from riding up onto that pencil-pillar.

He ran out of slings so he clipped 2 q-draws together on the screw. The little ice stump had an in-cut on the backside so the slings stayed on.


On the other hand, it was so sunny everything was melting fast; I'd say only 15% of the screws we placed all day would have held a leader fall.
