That upper pillar was gnarly on Sunday - super brittle ice after refreezing from Saturday's sunny 40F temps. I put a tool in the base of the upper part (upper two tiers this pic) and the sound left me wanting nothing to do with it. I whimpered out right instead. Looked like you guys or someone else went out right too?
That and I didn't bother bringing a rock rack, which made the second pitch a bit spicier than usual. :\
